On Sunday October 20, ABC Dive Almere will organize the AIDA Freedive Pool Competition for the 3rd time

Registration fee for the competition is €30 for DFA members, non DFA members €35. Please transfer the registration fee to: NL68 RABO 0301 0299 ​​89 in the name of ABC Dive. Please mention your name and “FD Pool competition 2024”. Registration for the competition is only final when signed up using the registration form and payment has been received. If the number of registrations exceeds the maximum participants, the date of payment will be decisive. Recording your performance for the AIDA ranking is included for DFA members. If you are unable to participate in the competition after registration and payment, the amount will not be refunded.

  • 25 x 15 m 6 lanes
  • Temperature: 28⁰ -29⁰C 
  • 3 depths
    • Variable part from 0 tot 1,80.m
    • 2,5m
    • 3,5m
  • Static
    • 4 compartments in shallow part of pool, depth 90cm
    • Warm up in middle lanes 3 and 4 and separate pool

 

  • Dynamic
    • Variable bottom (starting position) will be set on 1,30m
    • Lane 1 and 6 for competition
    • Lane 2 and 5 for Safety divers
    • Lane 3 and 4 for warm-up

Medical Statement

Each participant must be in possession of a valid medical certificate from a qualified medical examiner. This may not be older than 12 months.

 

Privacy 

We would like to inform all participants that photographs and video recordings will be captured during the event. These visuals may be utilized for promotional activities by ABC Dive and the Dutch Freediving Association in the future. Participants who prefer not to be filmed or do not wish their images to be used for promotional reasons are encouraged to notify the event organizers. Additionally, please be aware that recordings of each performance will be made for potential review by the judges. It is not possible to opt out of these specific recordings. However, please rest assured that these recordings will not be used for promotional purposes or made publicly available. They may, however, be reviewed in a limited scope by a select group for the purpose of evaluating safety protocols and judges’ decisions.

 

This competition is an official AIDA competition under the supervision and guidance of AIDA Judges.
